BioI'm very interested in hearing from people with similar tastes in music. There only has to be a small overlap, and my musical tastes are very varied, so lots of people should find something they can identify with, although my fave music will probably be appreciated only by muso's and a few crazy people ;)
My fave genres of music are: progressive rock (eg Yes, Gentle Giant, ELP) & progressive metal (eg Dream Theater, Spiral Architect, Michael Harris), jazz-rock fusion (eg CAB, Tribal Tech, Vital Information), and jazz (hard bop, post bop, avant garde) eg John Coltrane, John Scofield, Sam Rivers, but I also enjoy instrumental rock (eg Steve Vai, Andy Timmons, Eric Johnson). Besides those pet genres of mine I listen to other classic and alt. rock (eg Rage Against the Machine, Tool, RHCP, Led Zeppelin, Aerosmith), metal (eg Iron Maiden, Megadeth, Black Sabbath), jazz, blues (eg Stevie Ray Vaughan, Kenny Wayne Sheperd), bluesgrass (eg Bela Fleck Tones, Phish, String Cheese Incident), folk music (eg celtic bagpipe), world music (eg traditional Indian, Caribbean, Gypsy), classical music. Don't ask about rap, pop, rnb, hip hop, dance etc because there will be no overlap there.
